Checklist monitoring

  • Take photos of the area before the restoration begins. Be sure to include reference points in the photos, such as trees that will remain, large boulders, or similar features.
  • Is there planned monitoring that needs to be taken into account?
  • Are there electric fish monitoring sites, freshwater pearl mussel habitats, benthic fauna sites, or other survey areas that need to be considered during the restoration? This ensures that start and stop markings on trees or stones are not removed. If so, the markings must be replaced on another suitable object.
